Haters misinterpret this for "swinging wildly". Trout is tall, busy, a southpaw, and stayed on the outside, the punches Canelo threw to the chest was smart, because Trout was quick to get out of range when he sensed Canelo about to attack.


The looping punches to Trout's chest caught him everytime, thats how Canelo closed distance and scored points at the same time.

 

Trout/Floyd would be a fine match.

 

I still can't understand why so many think Trout is anywhere near elite...he has one good win, he is feather fisted, defense is overrated, Trout in my opinion is a B-/B level fighter at best, his accuracy in the Canelo fight was so atrocious he had Cinnabun looking like Willie Pep in there, even when he had Canelo visibly bothered by a body shot, backing up to the ropes hands down Trout couldn't even land a significant power shot let alone a combo, anytime you let a guy win rounds where he's only fighting 60-90 seconds of the round you sir are an average fighter and a disgrace for a champion...

Floyd would put on a clinic against Trout, if he can't land on Alvarez there's no way he lands on Floyd, that **** would be a mismatch...

 

You crazy, watch that round again and come back here and tell me I am wrong, Trout was dropped early Canelo won the first 2 mins of the round while Trout tried to get his legs back then Trout rallied back from 2 min to 2:30 mark, from there Canelo closed out the round with several right hands to the body and some night shots up stairs...

You really need to re watch that round and tell me that I am wrong Trout only had a 30 second rally in that round that isnt enough to warrant a 10-9 round for Canelo
