Some people seriously make the argument for Hattons induction into the hall fame.

I used to think being in the hall of fame was based on skill. I know better now. Stallone is in it ffs as another poster said. It is all about FAME and Hatton had it and I have no doubt he will be inducted one day.

 

Bringing up Stallone is irrelevant. He is not enshrined as a fighter. He is enshrined in the same category as writers, reporters, refs, judges, promoters, commentators, etc... The NON-COMBATANT portion of the HOF.

So, bringing him up just means that you didn't even know that, as bringing it up otherwise is entirely pointless when discussing the merit of boxers making the HOF.

 

If he gets in its because of beating Tszyu. And I really don't see how he made it in.

 

Hatton was insanely popular. He could get into the hof on that alone. English fanboys followed the drunk ******* around the globe. I like hatton but he lost to collazo, got whipped by floyd, almost beheaded by pacquiao, n past it or not a loss to senchenko is embarrassing. He's not deserving of the hall of fame on achievement, but he was popular and a character.

It's the HOF, its about the impact fighters had on the sport. Hatton will get in on fame alone.

 

Hatton's fame, popularity and boxing achievements guarantee he will get in.

Hatton deserves to be inducted. It shouldn't be debated.
