    According to Steve Kim, if Jessie Vargas wins his fight tonight versus Lanardo Tyner, he'll possibly be fighting Alfonso Gomez on the undercard of Mayweather vs Cotto at Welterweight. Good action matchup if it comes off.

    Vargas said in a recent interview that he felt stronger at 147 lbs and had come into the weight well, so I assume so. He was pretty tall for the Light Welterweight division at 5'10'' so odds are decent making weight at 140 was tough for him.
