Some questions for Ward and Dirrell fans

Dirrell is faster, Ward has the better skillset, Ward would probably beat Dirrell.

Ward is more intelligent, more versatile, and handles pressure better as well.

 

Dirrell seems faster, for all that's worth. Ward is fast enough. Think Mayweather-Judah.

Ward is probably one of the most skilled boxers out there.

Ward will beat Dirrell.

Wish you had done a poll on Ward. He seems so polarizing here on the forum.

 

I'd say Dirrell is noticably quicker and it's a toss up as to who is more skilled. That being said I'd still pick Ward to beat him. I think it will be a decent fight.

 

Dirrell is the faster better outfighter, Ward is far better at mid and close range, has better balance and workrate, plus more variety and uses angles better. Ward should beat Dirrell up, but I'm not 100% on that, its a tricky style and Dirrell is still undefeated as far as I'm concerned

 

I can't wait for this bout...everyone seems to be picking Ward as if it's almost a certainty he will win, but I fancy Dirrell in this matchup.

 

i think dirrell is a long way better than him tbh

 

dirrel is the more physically gifted, faster and hits harder

ward is far more skilled and i think he will win it as dirrel relies on his physical gifts too much

plus dirrell cant handle wards dirty tactics.

 

I was just about to respond but then... I'm not a Dirrell or Ward fan.

Ward's and Dirrell's respective speed is comparable, IMO.
Ward has the broader range of tools.
Ward should win this. He just seems to better all-round, while Dirrell still has a question or two to answer.

 

I would say, I have it all for Ward except for speed I would say they are equal.
Ward could move like Dirrell and probably be even faster but he doesn't do that. Otherwise he would be slipping over the canvas like it's covered with bananas like Direll who tends to outrun his own body all the time. Ward's movements are more controlled but that's because technique wise he is the more proficient of the two.
