    - Why is Pacquiao favorite against the best 140lb fighter in the world considering he has never fought at the weight before?

Hatton is slightly overrated and he has had trouble with southpaws in the past.

    - If Hatton wins decisively, where is he in the p4p top 10, and who replaces Pacquiao as the best fighter in the world?

Of course. You beat the number one p4p fighter in the world, you should at least be number 10, maybe higher depending on if and where you were prior to the victory.

    - One sided fights - can they ever be great?

sure. great beatdowns. (mayweather/gatti for example)

    - On a scale of 1-10, how much do you love Boxing and why?

    12. i think i have a problem.

    - Barrera is in the process of a comeback. Is his best chance at a 135lb title against Campbell?

yes. he lost to the best already at 130, and i think 140 would be a little to big for him.

    - In the event Barrera is successful, how does it effect his overall legacy?

He's already a living legend. it can only put another feather in his already full cap!

    - Do you think Larry Merchant was awesome?

    **** Larry Merchant.

    - Who is the next P4P number one, in your opinion?

Juan Manuel Marquez. After Pac and calzaghe retire, everybody moves up one.

    - What fights have literally sent you to sleep?

Wladimir vs Ibragimov and Spinks vs Taylor (agreed)

    - What fight are you most looking forward to in 2009?

Arce/Darchinyan. should be a war. also haye/vitali klit, just to see if haye can really bang with the big boys or is he all talk.

Why is Pacquiao favorite against the best 140lb fighter in the world considering he has never fought at the weight before?

The way he looked against shot hoya, he moved and jived effectively, his punching speed looked as effective he didnt look to tire out at all. It does lookl like he may have lost a bit of power, but he can still stop guys with his accumulation of punches. The man is a steamrolling machine that definitely has made it plausible that he can be succesful in the 140 division. I think if he beats Hatton there will be no more questions whether or not he can hang. In fact if he beats Hatton convincingly people will wonder how he will do in the higher weight class, hell they do it now.

    - If Hatton wins decisively, where is he in the p4p top 10, and who replaces Pacquiao as the best fighter in the world?

I would probably put him at number third or fifth. If the fights closer I think there might be a better case to put him at second, but you will always have people saying that Pac was the smaller man, so I doubt he would get recognition for it, at least not quite like having him at second. If you see threads not only are Pac fans going against him, but even non pac fans are picking pac by UD, so it's definitely should be noted that he was coming into the fight as an underdog. I guess in the end of the day we should wait and see what the boxing experts have to say on the matter, but all signs are pointing to Pac being a huge favorite at least from the fans perspective.

    - One sided fights - can they ever be great?

Yes, without question it's a great way to hype a fighter up and build a fan base by highlighting said fighters skill and what he has to offer. You begin to wonder, if he looked this good against this fighter how will he look against boxer A, B, C and D.

    - On a scale of 1-10, how much do you love Boxing and why?

I am a 7, love the sport, but I am not quite as passionate as some are on this site.

    - Barrera is in the process of a comeback. Is his best chance at a 135lb title against Campbell?

Definitely has that kind of feeling to it.

    - In the event Barrera is successful, how does it effect his overall legacy?

I am not sure, guess will have to see and find out.

    - Do you think Larry Merchant was awesome?

I am 50/50 at times I think he's hilarious and at times I find him obnoxious.

    - Who is the next P4P number one, in your opinion?

Juan Manuel Marquez, but I am insanely bias on this

    - What fights have literally sent you to sleep?

    Holy vs Val.

    - What fight are you most looking forward to in 2009?

I am looking forward to Hatton/ Pac, Haye/ Wlad possibly? Cotto's next fight and JMM/ Diaz. Oh I also forgot Juanma, gotta see him and an honorable mention of Prescott.

    - Why is Pacquiao favorite against the best 140lb fighter in the world considering he has never fought at the weight before?

Because he is coming in with the illusion of the DLH fight, as the p4p no. 1, and coming down in weight. I believe Hatton/Pacquiao will be 50-50.

    - If Hatton wins decisively, where is he in the p4p top 10, and who replaces Pacquiao as the best fighter in the world?

I agree that hatton breaks into the p4p top ten somewhere in the middle, and Marquez moves up to top dog.

    - One sided fights - can they ever be great?

One sided fights don't hold a candle to true competitive fights, what would be the point of the fight then? Good Boxing fans like good Boxing fights.

    - On a scale of 1-10, how much do you love Boxing and why?

8.5 - Despite all the corruption and bullcrap wrapped around the sport there is nothing like the sweet science. The spectacle, the buildup, the comebacks, the upsets, the battles, the contrast and variety of all styles and intangibles, and the story written behind every fight make it hard to look away.

    - Barrera is in the process of a comeback. Is his best chance at a 135lb title against Campbell?

Even though I disagree with Barrera's comeback from retirement I think he has some gas left in the tank and may have one or two good fights left. Campbell is very inconsistent and inactive and I believe he fought the fight of his life against Diaz and most likely can't repeat a performance like that. So yes, MAB's best bet at a title is to box the crap out of Nate and evade his rough handles.

    - In the event Barrera is successful, how does it effect his overall legacy?

Barrera adds to his legacy. It was his plan to move up to lightweight a few years ago. Beating the unified belt holder moves him up a few more notches.

    - Do you think Larry Merchant was awesome?

"I love Larry Merchant" - from the hat
The old man will be missed once he is gone. I just don't get whats wrong with some people in this forum who through jabs at good old Larry.

    - Who is the next P4P number one, in your opinion?

    Juan Manuel Marquez by obviousness.

    - What fights have literally sent you to sleep?

Taylor - Spinks. What a load of crap that was.

    - What fight are you most looking forward to in 2009?

Vic vs Arce, Marquez vs Diaz, Pavlik vs Abraham, Hatton vs Marquez (provided both win their upcoming fights). :good

Why is Pacquiao favorite against the best 140lb fighter in the world considering he has never fought at the weight before?

Pacquiao is on a high horse from recently destroying DLH who was favored over Pacman, more bigger and skilled than Hatton. The PBF KO is still fresh in everybody's head since Hatton hasnt looked that spectacular in his comeback bouts.

    - If Hatton wins decisively, where is he in the p4p top 10, and who replaces Pacquiao as the best fighter in the world?

Id put Hatton at 4 or 5, if JMM beats J.Diaz convincingly he slips into #1

    - One sided fights - can they ever be great?

    Louis/Scmelling II

    - On a scale of 1-10, how much do you love Boxing and why?

8, I love the drama, violence and passion in the sport. Most of all I love the indivualism aspect of it, atleast in team sports if you slack off you're team can carry a win for you but in boxing if you slack off not only will you lose but take a physical beating.

    - Barrera is in the process of a comeback. Is his best chance at a 135lb title against Campbell?

Yes, which is primarily the reason why I believe he signed with DK in the first place.

    - In the event Barrera is successful, how does it effect his overall legacy?

If Barrera is successful, he gets put up ahead of Morales for sure but not by much and definetely a top 5 Mexican maybe top 3, for winning 4 titles in 4 different weight classes.

    - Do you think Larry Merchant was awesome?

It will be a sad day when Merchant is no longer a commentator for HBO, in fact I believe his contract expire this year too.

    - Who is the next P4P number one, in your opinion?

    Floyd Mayweather jr.

    - What fights have literally sent you to sleep?

    Ouma vs Powell

    - What fight are you most looking forward to in 2009?

As a Pacfan definetely Pacman vs Hatton, Cotto/Margo II, and Haye/Klitchsko.
If its true that Chris John is going to Fight Rocky Juarez on the undercard of JMM/Diaz then i havent been excited for a card since Mab/Juarez II.
