Arreola actually looks relatively slim. I'm interested to see whether he actually makes high 230's like he said he would.
Adamek should win this. Arreola is a fringe contender elevated above his station because of his size and nationality - The fact remains that he hasn't beaten a top 30 opponent and if Adamek is remotely 'for real' at heavyweight, that will still be the case come the end of their bout.
I think if you shaved Adamek's head, Arreola would have half-an-inch to an inch on him, but it's certainly not a big difference. That second pic is tilted in Adamek's favour, bear in mind.
Yeah it is slightly tilted but it is taken from the side of Arreola so give or take these two perspectives should equal each other.
Yes, that is true. However, Adamek seems to be considered more of a 'hope' at heavyweight than Arreola by the majority, hence my choice of that perspective.
Nah. Adamek has been earning his rep for some time now. He has taken his lumps. Arreola's best win is still an old McCline. Basically Arreola's achievements are disproportional to the amount of attention he's been getting. Clearly his nationality and dearth of boxing talent in the States are a huge part of that.
Arreola was always listed at 6'2" until recently. He's no 6'4". Paul Williams was an inch taller than Arreola. I also wouldn't be surprised if Adamek naturally has the larger frame. Arreola fought at 178 in the amateurs.
