He is on the watch list for possible glass jaws, since seeing him get wobbly from a jab. But he's so ****ing good that he could have the jaw of James Kirkland and still remain undefeated for a long time. Because it is not his style. He uses that jab when need be but his right hand is mostly used for defense. That right forearm block of his combined with his speed and balance is an exceptional tool, not only does it help with defense, it is a near perfect tool to measure distance for the left hand. He's been trained as an amateur in a style of hitting and not getting hit without taking silly risks. In reality he could be just fine with that left only, but if he gets a good right hook going his style would be more fan friendly.
Guys, as much as I agree it was an amazing performance, simmer doon. Teon was a 14/1 underdog. I was expecting this, still a very impressing performance though.
Oh yeah, of course, **** that other guy. Rigo needs to step up asap but im extremely excited for the future with him. we need to see him in abit of a war tbh, he's had it all his own way as a pro. Lets see someone rough him up abit and how he reacts.
rigo needs to build his resume, that means 5 fights a year at least, once he's earned a real title shot then go after Donaire and Nishioka
he already won a title, or his WBA belt is a paper one? He won it from a Champion not from a cab driver in a vacant kind of match...
Rigo was ****ing badass last...Great performance. Nonita must have been shitting his pants after watching Rigo last night. :yep
Out of curiosity, what is that belt around Rigo's waist? Also, dude on his right has a major "I want some of dat white girl" expression on his face.
Ramos was top notch amateur and a champ. Cordoba's better than anyone Donaire's beaten aside from Darch and Montiel. Only people that don't want Rigo vs Donaire seem to be big Donaire fans......Rigo is a beast and has earned a Donaire fight. There's no one else below 126 that would be more worthy other than Nishioka who we know ain't happening
