To be fair, Rocky was a definition of hard work, Barkley made his career through his talent. Barkley reminds me more of James Toney - excellent talent and overcoming physical limitations, but more through raw talent and skills than hard work.

The epitome of showing what can be acheived with sheer hard work (and a acceptance on part of the officials and indeed even his opponents that the Queensberry rules were breached by Rocky at times). Trained hard, fought hard, Mr nice guy persona was left outside the ring ropes, once inside that squared circle he was a man on a mission, every mission succesfully fought and won, no quarter given or sought.
He's lucky that Oliver McCall wasn't around in 1952....there is someone Rocky ducks....I see Frazier ducking McCall as well if McCall was around in 1970
