the world record by a incredible athlete for 1.8 miles or (3000km) is 7.25 mins and the guy is sprinting painfully fast. guys like boxinglad123 claiming they can do 2.7 miles in 16 mins, is unbelievable and is bull discuss
yes alot of the times are bull! I only know one of my times these days really, i can do 4 miles in 27 mins 54 seconds, ( i know iv done it slightly faster but i cant remember the exact time so i wont make it up :rofl) HOWEVER i admit these are treadmill miles as i call them and dont compare to the real thing , im pretty fit and that kills me
I run well, 3-4 times a week and am constantly blown away by some of these times, we have some serious runners posting here. Johnboy, 4 mile is a great time.
seriously to run 2.7 miles in 16 min, you'd have to be Sprinting like a Maniac and i never seen the greatest fighters ever run that fast for roadwork
Instead of enlighting us with your attitude, for a change try and let some of that productivity shine through.
The minumum distance of the run I do is 2 and a half miles. I've done that in 16 minutes. No bullshitting, the time isn't unbelievable.
Ha ha??? I'm a good contributer to this forum much of the time but stupid threads and questions get tiresome. especially when there is a search facility.
There's no point in lying about times, my times are what I get. What you tell people on a forum doesn't change what you are in reality, what I say is what I get.
At my best I could only get 2 and a half miles in just under 20 mins.. It was on roads with hills but clearly I'm nowhere near as fast as most guys.
2.7 miles in 16 mins is ridicolously fast for that period of time you are running seriously fast for sustained running, near world class athlete level.
Actually thats not that crazy. A fit athlete should be able to do 2miles in 12min, 6min mile*2. 2.7 miles in 16min is achievable, thats about 5min 50secs per mile.
nah its ridicolous, thats almost world class running... 4 min mile is by the greatest runners on the earth for sustained running 15 mph is the world record for sustained running (4 min mile) im more likely to believe it if he is a flyweight or a bantamweight.
2 and a half miles in 16 minutes cannot be world class. I've been running that same run for about 4 years on and off, and gradually decreased the time.
