    No to the bold part.

Ruslan has not fought anyone on Wlad's level. If he were to be stopped today (which is likely) then it won't be that big of a deal. His 25-0 record is not that impressive at all imo because no one good is really on there. There are no prime Holyfield's, Lewis's, Tyson's, or Ali's on either guys resume and there may never be.

The best Wlad could do is get his brother Vitali's name on his resume, but that will understandably never happen. I like Vitali as well and I think he has more of a claim to being the true no. 1 heavyweight than Wlad personally.

I know what you are talking about...I've seen it in the films. However, this manuever by Chagaev was successful chiefly against Valuev, and there is a big difference between Valuev and Vlad. Valuev was waiting to be hit by Chagaev's sneak left hand.

Chagaev's counter left hand was thrown mostly from long or medium range; I doubt that Chagaev will be able to score from this distance against a tall, smart boxer like Vlad. Further, I cannot picture Vlad fighting on the inside and giving Chagaev a chance to score with the left at close quarters.

I think Chagaev will hit nothing but air with his left cross.

He can't be as boring as John Ruiz or even Shannon Briggs no matter what happens.
