 Watch out, we've got a tough guy over here. Whitaker and Holyfield also boxed and didn't do roadwork, easy work you say?

Roadwork is very important for the mental side of things when it comes to fight prep.

    Not true at all. :patsch

Road work strengthens your leg muscles, which helps with throwing punches, fatigue in you legs, ability to take a punch, cramps, movement around the ring. As well as stamina.

    Have a cry dumbass.

    Sprints are not roadwork :patsch

Repeat sprints are a great way to build condition (probably not that useful for boxing specific fitness but fine for general preparation), roadwork i.e. long jogs everyday are ******ed and something that should disappear from the sport.

To quote what you posted agains: "The road work ended promptly and completely".

You're not related to BobTheBuilder are you? You seem to share his ability for self-ownage.

Man you are one moron.I know you think road work actually means putting on your red head band and running through the ****ing streets with kids behind you.Road work is sprints , running backwards , hill running, shuttle runs, all to get energy in the tank. You would know if you went to a gym.stick to watching movies , YO ADRIEN!!!Dip****

Did somebody in a boxing gym tell you that? None of that is true. It does help your stamina, at intensities less than are seen in boxing. It weakens your muscles. Repeat sprints are fine and improve aerobic fitness (VO2max etc.) far more than continuous running.

Everyone knows what roadwork means in boxing, don't try and change the definition to hide your embarrassment and self-ownage :hi:

Dont be a dick , its clear what I said and its clear where your fat arse is coming from, you could have an argument in an empty room . Road work in a real gym isnt just pounding the streets.Youve never been in a gym and never will. And fitness first doesnt count.

I'm confused. When I do sprints I hit the track. Is that considered road work? I think you guys just have different definitions.
