Running weakens your legs and punches :lol::lol::lol: now i have heard it all.
Just from experience alone i can say running imrpoved my footwork in the ring, made my legs stronger and gave me the ability to punch harder. Even my trianer said i was punching harder after i started running a little bit more.

That's because you were obviously very weak to begin with and you didn't have the strength/endurance to apply your skills. I'm talking about people who are actually in some sort of condition. You take an all round decent athlete and running (long distance/continuous) will weaken them, it's well documented. Sprint intervals on the other hand help you maintain your strength and in combination with weight training you reach higher levels of aerobic fitness as well as gaining the speed/anaerobic/power benefits. You can do anything and get better when you're a beginner. There are better ways to do things though. David Haye gets it right, Ariza's fighters get it right when they do his training.

I don't see how that would work. However when I'm stopped waiting to cross a busy street. While on a run I'll get on my toes and bounce around.

My hunch is that it's not as easy at it looks and it's an art form in itself.

You can't just pretend to get hurt.

I caught up on this from the one post I made on page 1.

    This thread was epic failure.

A total of 4-6 actual "unique facts" and nearly 100 posts whining back and forth about who is correct regarding road work. Or wait, "track work?" The answer is obvious; it is a conditioning drill which hurts or helps certain fighters depending on a whole lot of factors including body build and what else your training involves. There are so many factors in here to think that either side believes they are factual correct is simply ******ed.

As for the question about Monzon: I think it was a different woman than the one he threw off a balcony and killed many years later.
