Then give me some contemporary examples.... I'm just interested in what ya'll got to say..... So hit this thread up.... If ya'll want, you can even name a pure boxer from every weight class today if there is one of course.....but go ahead.
Is there such a thing. There are so many geniuses in here who thinks know everything. So be my guest and I'll read...
My definition of a pure boxer is a guy like Pernell Whitaker. Relies entirely on his technical ability to get the job done, possessing little to no knockout power. Wilfred Benitez, Michael Nunn, and Calderon are good examples.
Somebody who can always win without hurtin their opponent simply based on skills. Hittin and not gettin hit. Jab, footwork, defense, combinations, tactical clinching if necessary.
:good Paulie Malignaggi, Willie Pep, Pernell Whitaker, Michael Nunn, Wilfred Benitez, Chris Byrd, etc.
