Hell no. Boxer-puncher. Knocked out his last two opponents in devastating fashion, not to mention nearly everybody at 135lb he fought, and Fernando Vargas.

    Agree.

Most people seem to confuse pure Boxer with conventional straight up and down European style IE Mikkel Kessler.

    Another good example.

Paulie Malignaggi, Cristian Mijares, Ivan Calderon, Chris Byrd, etc.

So I guess by everybody's definition: If you have insanely great power and happens to KO most of you're opponents, then you are not a pure boxer.

I still thinks JuanMa Lopez comes close to being a good example. Can mix it up as well as good defense. But with you guys definition, he can't be becoz of his KO percentage.

My man in my avatar. Bernard Hopkins. Don't laugh, the guy hasn't knocked out anybody in his last 7 fights. With his age, 44, as a factor, he has used nothing but his mind to out-box top fighters with lesser boxing skills than him. Calzaghe is another. Boxing mind geniuses.
