Skelton is probably more durable then Klitschko, but is less marketable, provides a less rewarding prize and is a backward step for an undisputed world champion... read it and weep. Soon you china chinned, Johnny Nelson clone boyfriend Vladimer will be no more HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA AH AHA HA AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :hammertime
I don't think it's proven what sort of chin Skelton has, just that nobody has tested it, but the fact he has never been down is the reason Haye doesn't want to fight him - it isn't marketability or any of that pish. Wlad has never actually been KO'd just TKO'd. The brutal shots he took from Sanders would have KO'd just about any fighter Skelton included, but Wlad kept getting back up. So I wouldn't rate any aspect of Skelton above Wlad, he just hasn't faced and beaten the same level of opponent,
yeah, I saw Williams' fight against Klit snr, he sure ate plenty canvass that night. And as for "Intelligent placement" WTF:rofl Williams hasn't got the brains to throw a punch in the right place, I imagine that's what you mean? Maybe I should get Buncey to send Williams around to your house:yep
Lewis on Haye "It's very early for David Haye right now," said Lewis. "People keep asking me about him and I tell them he has real talent. He's very good, he's upcoming, he can punch and he's very capable. I know he's calling out Wladimir Klitschko right now but I don't think he's ready yet. But 18 months down the line? Maybe then he has what it takes." Tony Thompson fought a good fight," Lewis said, a little generously, of the plodding 36-year-old challenger who was systematically broken down by Klitschko's power after a spirited start had won Thompson the opening round. "He didn't have the power to hurt Wladimir, who has good talent when he uses it. The further the fight went, the more Wladimir started to relax and was a little less robotic. I always said Klitschko could throw great right hands and it was a real good shot that knocked Tony out. The problem for Klitschko is the way the heavyweights are now. He doesn't have no challengers. Maybe there's one, but he's retired. You could say, I've been there and done that." This content is protected
November isn't good. That means he'll only have got one fight in by the time Wlad is ready to fight him. The deal he set was he'd get two fights in against good fighters.
Yes but who knows when the fight will be set for. Lets say Klitschko & Haye square off next summer, it still gives him time to get another fight in.
Peter is very likely a former champion by the time Haye is scientifically ready to have fight. WK made eight million Euro's last night for beating Thompson, he doesn't need Superfly to make money.
I'm a massive fan of Haye, but all this talkin is getting rather predictable now. I mean, I do think Haye will become champion, but with all the talking he's doing, what if it all blows up in his face when'if he fights Wlad? I mean, Haye has the power to KO Wlad, but that works both ways. If Wlad lands cleanly, then I'm afraid that will probably be all she wrote for Haye. Both guys do not have good chins. Past evidence suggests this! If Haye does become HW champion, it will be brilliant for british boxing. David might not be everyone's cup of tea, but he's a confident guy who has matured over the years. Haye's recently became a father so he's has even more motivation to succeed now.
I'm only a critic of Haye becaue of his trash talking and long lay off. He IS an exciting fighter, no doubt at all, but he needs to clam down the boasting and learn some respect. Lennox Lewis: class act. Haye: arrogant punk. I will laugh hard when he's planted on his backside. Looking forward to it in fact.
Why not get a fight in now, one at the end of the year and then make the fight for Jan, Feb, March, even April. But to wait ANOTHER year is silly. The fight can be made much sooner if Haye gets serious.
