He was loads of fun to watch, and could fight to a good level, but got robbed on some ridiculous decisions and thrown into alot of no win situations. The world needs plenty of his kind to excite on undercards and put on entertaining fights on ESPN level cards, you can still be of value to boxing if you're not Floyd Mayweather talented.
Augustus was willing to fight anybody, anytime, anywhere and always gave it his all. He was the victim of tons of hometown decisions, but took it all with a small and came back the next time. I always thought that he could have had a decent career if he had any type of decent promotion early in his career.
u gotta understand that Augustus fought lots of guys in their hometown and furthermore he took tons of fights on a few days notice. He got robbed just like Glen Johnson who travelled to his opponents' hometowns just to get robbed
