imagine the shock in boxing it would create if ortiz actually pulled it off, he would be fighter of the year and his stock would skyrocket.

I agree, but with the whole Manny issue, most opinion on him is tainted. Before the Hatton fight there was talk of the Margarito fight, after that there was the Cotto fight, now it's the Pacquiao fight, but that's the one that holds the most weight. The truth is it's not Floyd talking about Pacquiao there, he's asked about him. However, he says if you bring him up it's about how great he is and how much he's accomplished and you bring up Pacquiao it's about him riding the coattails of Mayweather and it simply isn't true.

Infact, you could argue Pacquiao has the superior resume, I think so anyway. Even at Welterweight, Mayweather has fought **** all. I understand Pac's fighting Marquez/Mosley after Mayweather but the Clottey/Cotto wins were still very valuable and aren't too far away (if not superior) from Mayweather's wins over Judah (who Cotto destroyed and in my opinion is a 140lber) and... Sharmba? Is that it who you can't make really fair judgement over?

I'm really not one of these guys who are like "Team Pac, **** anything Floyd related" because I like Floyd, I really do. He just ****ing infuriates me like no other boxer can because of the amount of bull**** and childish crap that spews from his camp and his resume. Pac isn't making take the test t-shirts, he isn't going on about how he's not fighting for legacy or all roads lead to Pacquiao. It's just stupid **** and I wish he'd realise he has to fight. You don't win p4p #1 spot and keep it forever for doing **** all.

Kudos to him fighting Ortiz, really. But it doesn't mean anything. Sure, it's a good name, but it's at the point it means **** all because that's not the fight people want to see and it's all built up to be this megafight and it just isn't. Ortiz was the shittest fighter ever when he lost against Maidana and now he's the greatest thing after beating Berto (and it wasn't like it was a whitewash either) and drawing with Peterson. Really? This is the guy people think has a chance against Mayweather? Why do you think Mayweather picked him in the first place? He knows, man. He's as much a cherry picker than Pacquiao is.

I find Degale hilarious and found the picture funny, that's why I have it. And at least Degale isn't referring to himself in the third person or cherry picking... yet.

Flash Jab, you may wanna talk to someone, because you sound kinda sad going on with this rant about someone you don't even know.

I understand your problem because Floyd has said multiple things throughout his career that I don't agree at all with. But that doesn't take away from the fact that I think he is the best fighter of this generation.

I thought Mike Tyson was a damn fool for the way he got himself into stupid **** he would say and do and the way he started feeding into his own hype by not training properly for all his fights. But that didn't stop me from rooting for him to win whenever he stepped in the ring.

Sidenote: I've actually met Floyd and he was nothing but kind, respectful, grateful, and he signed every item I asked for.

You got to learn to separate the man from the persona.

I get that, I've heard he's supposed to be a great guy and whatnot, which makes me wonder if it really is an act, but its like he really does have seem psychological issues when it comes to fighting.

I think he just believes he is the best to ever do it. After being so successful for so long, its almost impossible for any boxer to not eventually start thinking that way. That's just human nature. There are countless other boxers who think the same way but he is the first with balls enough to actually say it. Be it good or bad. Last person with that sort of ego was Ali.

I'm sure that he does have psychological issues. Look at the two men that he was around the most during his younger years. Floyd Sr. and Roger both have a screw loose. If it weren't for boxing both of them would probably be dead or in jail. These 2 were the father figures in his life. That is all I need to know to understand why Floyd acts like he does. But that doesn't change what I think of him as a boxer.

Again, people always scrutinize what Mayweather does in terms of hwo he fights and what he does outside of the ring. Is Pac resume really that much better. Let it be alone I am a fan of the sweet science and especially a bhuge mayweather fan. Don't think he doesn't **** me off as well b/c he definately does, but let us be straight about something, pac has not done anymore than mayweather has but just being more active, taht's it and that's all. They are two different style fighters who have 2 vvery different personalities. All the accliam that Pac is getting is not worth it. Some on here speak about the Cotto fight and Clottey fight, come on man, are you guys serious? Cotto was practically raped the fight b4 and Clottey was bull**** b/c the 10 punches he did throw in the fight busted pac's face up. When Mayweather fought Oscar, he gave in to all of Oscar's demands, Pac needs to do the same b/c even though you guys all hate him, he is the man right now and Pac fans have to realize it. If pac really wants the fight, take the test along with mayweather and kick his ass if he can.

Who cares? It's only ******ed *****s who buy into that **** anyways. He'll forever be remembered as the guy who ducked Pac.
