Khan is fighting Paul Malinaggi right? Ok..what happend about Medina being his manditory?? I know this is old cos i've seen Khan v Malinaggi mentioned on here for a while..and I look at fightnews everyday..but somehow I missed the news (apparently) about Medina not now being his next fight.:huh Can someone bring me up to date since I missed this old news who knows how many weeks ago.

Maidana was Khan's mandatory until GBP stepped in. They coaxed Maidana into the idea that the fight needs hype and the best way to do it is to take both guys and let them take an interim fight before delving face first into the big fight. Maidana agreed to it and while both fighters WILL fight within a specific time frame (at the most I believe it's 3 years), it's generally believed both fighters will take one fight and then get to it unless Cayol beats Maidana.
Khan will never have anything more than 1 or 2 belts...He is nothing special...got his ass exposed and is still fighting bums if you ask me...not a very good fighter..just hype
