Validate.... what? DLH beating KT? Ofcourse it's not a good comparison, that's what I'm trying to tell you bleeding heart Kostya-sexuals. DLH whoops KT at 140. :good

You're comparing KT to a fighter that he has nothing in common with in order to make your prediction?

DLH is much better suited to exploit KT than KT would be to DLH. What does KT have in his arsenal that would trouble DLH? ..A good right hand?

And if you think KT's power matches DLH that's fine, but nevertheless.. DLH would be able to handle Tszyu's power a lot better than Tszyu would be able to handle DLH's.

Since when did Tszyu have trouble with speed?

Tszyu is so much more talented styles wouldn't even come into it.

KT was bothered by Judah's speed before catching him with a Kostya-bomb, and Judah doesn't have half the chin that DLH has.

So KT would probably beat say.... George Foreman? Since styles wouldn't matter and all..

Easy. ODLH by ko. I love KT but his aura of invincivility was totally lost when he was koed by Phillips.

I take it you didn't watch the first round of the fight where KT was clearly bothered by Zab's speed.

Someone want to explain to me how Tszyu would have beaten DLH?

Sure, I'll give it a go.

Firstly, I actually think DLH would have most likely won on points. How anyone who has watched Tszyu's career can say the guy doesn't have a chin is beyond me. His entire career is filled with taking bombs and rarely going backwards. So a KO from DLH is unlikely.

Secondly, we're talking prime for prime ... and a prime Tszyu was quick. Not with feet, but deceptively fast with his hands. And no, not combinations.

Tszyu's best punch in his prime was not the right hand. It was the hook off the jab that most opponents, even the fast ones, never saw. He hit alot of guys with a very fast hook, turned their heads 90 degrees then hit them with a straight right. His best fights he didn't throw just right after right.

He was also an under-rated body puncher. You can count the number of times he went to the body on guys but he hurt people every time he did.

Power wise, I've rarely heard so many fighters in a light weight division say post-fight they have never been hit so hard.

Speed wise, yeah, Zab hit him early but Tszyu was a slow starter and was clearly sizing the guy up. He hits Zab at the end of the first, Zab goes geez this guy hits hard, and goes into his shell. Game over round two. People forget that in that fight, many people were already calling Zoo old and slow and nearly the end of his career.

I think Tszyu had a good chance against DLH because he kept power throughout a fight and didn't fade as bad as DLH. Strongest fighter you'll see at 140 as well, he fought a lot of bigger guys and threw them around like rag dolls. He commands enough respect with his power to make DLH cautious and had more than enough variety to hurt DLH from head to body. Not only that, for the most part, Tszyu was a very smart fighter. The phillips fight is his dumbest fight and one he clearly could have won if he'd been a bit smarter. I rate that as a blip rather than an indicator of Tszyu's abilities, and a loss due more to Tszyu's arrogance than anything else. Mosely and quartey both troubled DLH, I definitely think Tszyu would too.

But that said, DLH has a strong case for winning this fight. Tszyu was a solid 140 fighter but he was absolutely at the biggest he could go. DLH is bigger and faster, I don't think stronger, but the size difference is considerable.

    Great fight, 60/40 DLH.

KT has the chin, the punch, and the skills to compete with DLH.

DLH is a very smart boxer, he knew what weakness he has to exploit to win. He'll fight this one the way he fought JCC the first time. Fighting out of a low stance to avoid getting digged at the body, and jabbing from a distance to avoid KT's right hands.

The argument here would be DLH would be tall for KT, if you remember, Hugo Pineda was 6' tall. He knocked down KT in fact. But he got stopped afterwards. I know, Pineda is no DLH, I'm just making a point at KT will have no trouble fighting tall opponents. Another thing, KT's handspeed is underrated.

That will be KT's trump card. After eating a handful of jabs early, KT will find his groove and come in aggressivly by the middle rounds. Of course, DLH long arms will be a disadvantage in infighting. KT will inflict enough damage and win by close decision.

They can believe Tszyu would win if they want. I would pick DLH but it's not out of the question that KT could win.

That's different that someone saying they KNOW he would win and I haven't seen anyone say that. I could be wrong about that, I'm just saying.

It's easily argued..prime for prime it's close..I pick Tszyu for greater speed, power, and most importantly intelligence..It's not that DLH doesnt posses these qualities he was just never as smart or quick we could argue the power all day....Tszyu wins in my opinion as the power is administered with the proper timing everytime:)
