    ANGRY Frank Warren believes someone is trying to wreck Amir Khan's world title fight against Andreas Kotelnik at the MEN Arena next Saturday.

    Nearly 20 posters advertising the WBA light-welterweight showdown have been defaced around Greater Manchester and Lancashire.

    Yellow 'cancelled' stickers have been stuck on posters depicting the two rival boxers.

    Now Warren's son, Francis, has contacted M.E.N. Sport to reassure fight fans the biggest contest of Khan's career will definitely go ahead.

    "We've no idea who is responsible but they seem determined to scupper the fight," said Warren junior. "There were rumours a few weeks ago on the internet that Kotelnik had a hand injury and was going to be replaced by John Murray.

    "But Kotelnik's promoter has come out and said there's nothing wrong with his fighter and that he is perfectly healthy.

    "We are expecting him to fly in on Saturday.

    "Just in case fans out there are worried the fight won't take place, I want to reassure them it most certainly will."

    Jesus Christ, come to Bristol then, Mr Warren! Any advertising posters in the centre are immediately defaced by some prankster who isn't Banksy (his stuff is left alone seeming he's ours). Put it into context, it's not like he's had death threats.
