Fury beat Wladmir while he was in first gear. Fury knocks him out in a rematch. Like Liston, Wlad tried to pull out all the tricks and cheats, but it didn't work.
I clearly stated a few weeks ago.....fury will win....2ppvs 50million dollars. ..wlad wins titlesback Iin rematch. ....3rd fight ppv....
Fury had the right game plan Klitschko looked like a fish out of water. Its time to ride off into the sunset Wlad. You had a great career but now its time for the fat lady to sing Bye Wlad
SO why you make this stupid thread and this one? from Wlad: "I was prepared very well. Tyson was very quick and energetic. I never thought he could do it. I felt I lacked quickness and never found the right distance. This also had to do with his reach. Not much worked. I knew I was behind, but I didnt have the recipe. Actually, I felt confident, but I couldnt find the right key. However, there is a rematch"
He got used to hitting and not getting countered, his resistance to counters is below amateur level...He never was ready for this :smoke
He probably had a bad night, because their baby woke him up or something. No, there was nothing wrong with him, and Wlad is not a fighter looking for excuses, he was outboxed by Fury. In his last match against Jennings the signs already showed, because he lost rounds, he would win easily in his prime. Fury fought him at the right time.
Excellent post. :good I agree with everything you said. The Haye fight exposed his lack of counter punching. He had plenty of options to counter Haye but never did, a counter would mean getting into an exchange which is risky for Wlad. He doesn't want any kind of exchange or trade of punches, he can't control a fight in that scenario. He wants to get off first and then either move away or clinch, if he makes his opponent miss he doesn't really want to counter and give his opponent a chance to hit back. It's very effective but only works if you can get off first and against a taller fighter like Fury who can move a bit and use his size it is less effective. Prime Wlad could have pulled the trigger but he wouldn't want to unless desperate. What we saw last night was an old Wlad who even if he wanted to pull the trigger couldn't because his reflexes are gone. Wlad has always been one dimensional. He fights one way and only one way which is why he couldn't finish Haye off. He was in total control and had Haye in his sights but refused to pull the trigger because he hasn't trained to do so. Same thing last night he saw the openings but even if he had the reflexes to capitalise he couldn't, none of the drills he does would have seen him in a scenario where he had to force the fight. His lack of versatility was shown once again. Lewis was able to go toe to toe when he had to against Vitali and Mercer and he could force the fight as in the Bruno fight when behind. Wlad simply doesn't have that aspect to his game.
THe fight looked like Fury was putting on a clinic. Wlad didn't seem to know how to counter Fury's reach and movement. Not really a "great fight" but Fury was the victor.
No plan B; no ability to adapt when his reliable and limited but extremely potent script was torn up. Does - not - compute. Also, scared of the counters as previously stated.
