Just curious to see if anyone else thought this.While I was watching the fight I was thinking that Broner is just not physically a welterweight,Maidana was pushing him around fairly easy and his punches didn't seem to have much snap.Even when he fought Paulie I thought his power at welterweight was not there.Aside from all the bs he does in the end I think he's just a dumb 25yr old who wanted to be someone else so much that it cost him badly.
agree about the power but the prob is he aint making 135..and maidana could make 140 and the fight would be the same....unfortunetly for broner i dont think 140 will be much better for him.
I don't think it was Maidana's size that threw Broner off - it was his aggression. Broner looked big enough to compete to me, but he doesn't have "special" power at this weight like he did when he was fighting much smaller opponents.
