Based purely on skills, not opponents but tangible skills he has displayed, how do you rate Floyd Mayweather Jr in the ATG listings?

in my opinion the only strength he has not yet displayed is heart because he's never been in the doghouse, his hardest fight so far bein castillo, even that dint get overly rough.

before anyone goes on about anythin, most of us were'nt into boxin at the time of ray robinson an he gets loads of credit based on his speed an endurance.

so seriously, how do you rate floyd based purely on skills?

i put him easily as high as whittaker, up there with ali and leonard definately

Easily up there with those guys. If he manages to make beating Pacquiao look easy (which I'm not suggesting he'll do), he'll go down among the Top Ten all time in pure skill set. My opinion.

Floyd hasn't had to show heart because this era doesn't have a Hearns or Duran

People hoped and prayed Hatton was the man to put some pressure on Floyd but he was never going to be up to the task

The Hatton v Pacquiao fight was probably made to test the water for a Pacquiao stab at Floyd

And TBH if Floyd beats PAC convincingly we have to put him at least in the top 10

Nah man, Floyd hasn't showed heart coz he aint been in the ring with a top natural WW in their prime

    Mosley, Margarito, Cotto, Williams....

Realtalk, Mayweather skill wise is the best boxer of this era
