I was dismayed to see Peters turn up in crap shape for this fight, he didn't look fit or toned.

What is it about all Vitali opponents showing up in **** shape? Kirk Johnstone, Danny Williamson, Sam Peters, Lennox, Corey Sanders...all blowing out of their ass early and most of them visibly out of shape.

There definitely needs to be an investigation into this........

Contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as a coincidence.

i think they underestimated him, he doesn't look so great in the ring when u see him fighting but he sure surprizes his opponents as seen..

What an excuse to discredit Vitali. :-(

Peter trained for 5 months, knew about the fight for months ahead of time, and his handlers said he had his best training camp of his career. As far as what we saw from the photos, he clearly had a six pack and was well prepared, period. What more do you expect?

As I saw it, he was his usual self.

Its just that he was in with someone so much better, it made the normal Peter appear so lackluster in comparision.

maybe the klitschko camp sent them a lifelong free access to kfc and burger king three months before the fight...

The thought did strike me aswell.
But honestly, even if Peter was in the greatest shape of his life, he would be beaten silly and made to quit.

Peter is just not a top level fighter, he really is a poor fighter.

How would that be Vitali's fault??

Kirk Johnson - Yeah he was a whale in their fight
Danny Williams - he's been consistently over 260 for years, before and after Vitali
Sam Peter - I think he just isn't disciplined and managed properly
Lennox Lewis - Maybe out of shape and/or fading, but he won and put on a great fight
Corrie Sanders (not T-Rex) - He's a golfer, he never had a ripped physique to start with, but he could bang with the best of them. He was in the same shape for Vitali as he was with many opponents, both before and after also.

There's nothing to suggest anything fishy about Vitali when it comes to his opponents condition.

Peter has been too fat for all of his fights post Wlad, he didn't put on the weight specifically for Vitali.

****ing typical of this bleeding forum. A guy out for years gets in great shape and gives a great performence to boot, the guy who is the champ quite obviously has been living it up and not training hard, he thought what ever people say he would KO a guy out of the ring so long, and let us not forget a lot older then him, that there is ****ing unforgivable to show such total disrespect to such a dangerous fighter, he got what he ****ing deserved

But to say hes cheating somehow which im sorry is what your seeminly trying to get at, i think your trying to say he pays these guys of to not bother to much or some crap is also just amazing to think let alone say it

I would hold a valid point if Peter actually showed up in shape in his last couple of fights, which he hasn't. He was as bad as in the Maskaev fight and McCline. The difference is that Vitali used his reach well and didn't allow Peter to hit him, while delivering his own punishment.
