Ruslan was looking for the KO after that 1st round. All he was throwing were power punches. Never attacked the body and hardly used the jab. Once he got close he went in for the kill. You won't win every fight by KO.

I still think Ruslan won anyways :bbb

Something was mentally off with Provodnikov?

Or maybe Provodnikov just isn't that good.

i didn't get the impression that Prov wasn't all there mentally. it was just a bad style for him to look good against. but we knew this beforehand.

Most fighters look off when they are losing.

Something was definitely off-kilter I thought. He lacked aggression.

Ruslan is **** get over it

He got shutdown...This wasn't basic Alvarado or no power Bradley trying to go toe to toe. Imagine if Bradley entered that ring that night doing the job he was supposed to do instead of fighting Ruslans fight...nobody would even know who Ruslan is...just some dude who Timmeh' brutally outboxed.

    Boxing is an artform.

We will continue to see the shutdowns of many fighters....I would say Thurman is next but I don't underrate his boxing ability & get hyped by him just because he has KO power.

Scoring a first round knockdown can do harm to a fighter's mentality. If you think it's going to be an easy night ; it can be hard to turn that switch back on.

He hadn't a clue how to counteract what Algieri was doing and Roach wasn't providing him with any answers either, that's all that was wrong with him.

Algieri could have just as easily lost on Saturday night .

The Majority (54%) had him losing the fight .
