Yes, virtually all fighters lose, especially if they fight the best and fight outside their natural weight class and fight on the road or in their opponent's backyard. Styles make fights and sometimes your opponent's best night can coincide with your worst one or sometimes you just have a very bad day at the office. But if you unify a division winning all the belts or three of them individually, all against unbeaten opponents by the way, quicker than anyone else has sans Usyk, you're a very good fighter. Teofimo is a much more physically gifted and skilled fighter than Kambosos but he lost to him. It doesn't mean Teofimo isn't a very good fighter.
I think it had more to do with the incoming, the speed the power, the accuracy and he even displayed great defense as well. JT didn't know how to make the adjustments, he looked lost because he didn't expect Teo to fight that well. He underestimated Teo.
And yet Teo did nothing different in the second half from what he did in the first half. It was Taylor gassing and mentally falling apart that afforded Lopez those opportunities.
Hey if you're getting timed with big shots every time you try to pick up your offense it will stop you in your tracks too and make you more reluctant to throw punches. Those shots from Teo took a toll on him.
Maybe they can do it again at a CW or something, idk, I just don't think that JT can beat a 100% Lopez. People were saying that a 65% Taylor would be too much for Teo. Lol
he looked confident talking all that **** the entire build up. that goes for his fans making excuses now as well.
Taylor's lifestyle isn't the best as well so that is going to come into play. I think he should have taken a tune up because being off that long you are going to be rusty. I think they chose Teo because of the way he looked his last couple of fights. Teo actually didn't really look that good in my opinion it was more of Taylor failing to perform.
There’s nothing much he can do obviously he gave it all 100 percent. There’s always someone better than you.Teo is not taller but better than JT and that’s the bottom line. All i can say there’s not much in his division taller or better than JT only a few TLO is definitely one of them he sonned him.Its a fact that he will have to accept indeed.
Probably that. But I don’t know what Taylor usually gets paid but I imagine this was one of his better paydays fighting Lopez at MSG. Also Taylor had the long layoff. So camp Lopez probably equally did see an opportunity there.
Teo is also bigger and stronger than Loma but i got to give Loma credit. He is once in a while kind of fighter a matrix.Very rare..But the youth and power scuured the special one for the first 7 rounds. That was all it took mentally shook him up.Ow yeah!!
Taylor was never quite as good as people thought he was. He’s very good but not great, and Lopez is a rough matchup for him.
Yeah, kinda hard to win, let alone think your some kind of hof guy when you keep blocking punches with your face. And Ill say for the last time... Catteral showed this was more than possible.
