This is bizarre. Unless things have really changed since I worked a pro bout (which was some years ago) the only items allowed for a pro bout wrap was the prescribed amount of gaze and tape. No 'pads', guards, protectors, horseshoes, etc. allowed.

JUST TAPE AND GAUZE!

ANYTHING else was illegal. ANYTHING. PERIOD.

 

So your saying that your able to keep gauzed knuckle pads that have been compacted and harden after many uses ? hell no !!
Knucle pad are legal if it made from fresh Gauze , not reused Gauze and not treated gauze but brand new gauze, which Margarito did not use period.

This is pathetic, MARGO CHEATED and was CAUGHT RED HANDED, A fighter is ONLY allowed to have tape and Gauze in his wraps, which is what Tito had therefore while contravertial his wraps were legal, Margo on the other hand had a FORIEGN SUBSTANCE inside his, it doesn't matter if it was plaster or some other hardening agent, what he had was illegal, and next month when the department of justice finds out what it was Margo and Trainer will both get that 1 yr ban extended to lifetime along with brand new orange jumpsuits as going away gifts.
