He faced tough challenges in Cintron, Clottey, and PW. Mosley was, while a live dog, really just an entertaining stepping stone to the Cotto rematch.

Did Margarito have his confidence shaken by dominating Cotto into submission? How about KOing Cintron twice? Maybe ripping open Lujan's ear into a bloody pulp? There is absolutely zero reason to load up his gloves against Mosley, if he didn't against other fighters.
