10 years and never learn't to box. Just how to use his height as defence.

Fairly effective given most heavies can barely move out of their own shadow.

Unfortunately Wilder fell victim to his power. Many power punchers do, it's a common thing in boxing where they will get used to KO their opponents that that's the only way they know how to win.

Even fighters who started off as skilled boxers but had a lot of power have put their skills on the back burner over their power like Tito Trinidad and Fernando Vargas too name a couple.

One of the big differences between Fury, Joshua and Wilder is that if you punch Wilder he's over....Fury and Joshua not. The false mith of Wilders invincibility derives from the fact that before Fury 2 his chin was not tested at all...

Wilder Is an excellent one shot hitter who lacks many fundamentals...nothing else.

You're a weirdo. So you basically started out as a fan of Wilder until he got ktfo by Fury. You jumped ship like thousands of others, it's all good as no-one cares

Like every sport, athletes can be dominant without being one the best technically.

Weve always knew how limited wilder was in the skills department, but it was his KO power and ability to be behind in the fight and come back with a big shot to turn it all around that made him must see TV. hes still the biggest puncher in the HW division.. Fact

Vargas was highly skilled in the ring, and he knew how to set up his?power shots with great technique.. Wilder is a swing for the bleachers type of guy, but when he hit someone flush, 9 out of 10 guys went to sleep.

That's true. Vargas was very skilled and always was.

He was an excellent boxer, with good foot work, and body movement.

But a lot of times he took unnecessary risks because he knew he had power, even though more often than not his risks paid off.

Wilder is definitely a one trick pony. Had he focused more on developing boxing skills instead of relying on power he would be a great fighter as he has all the physical attributes to have been a skilled fighter.
