Please describe me the incredible boxing skills that Dawson showed tonight that put him among the P4P elite? Because he gave away rounds whilst being happy to throw nice flurries and then get hit a bunch of times, and then throw a flurry, and then let Tarver follow him, throw a flurry etc etc

And to even compare Bhop to Dawson is ****ing insulting. BHop would handle this kid as well.

 

Dawson was getting hit..What ****ing fight were you watching. This aint Froch or Calzaghe. Guys that get hit with the ****ing kitchen sink. Yeah Tarver landed some punches, its a ****ing fight. But Dawson made him miss far more than anybody else including a lesser than shot version of Roy. Not the recycled garbage that put Calzaghe on his ****ing ass.

 

Like Calzaghe got defense.. Who gets dropped by Bhop..lol Even Pavlik didnt go down. Calzaghe is a flawed ass fighter with a holes all in his game and he squeeked out and far more ugly and horrific win against Bhop.

Joe is WAY overrated because of his "Ottke" record. He struggled with a past peak Eubank, looked average versus Brewer, got rocked by Mitchell, looked like Reid level, got a weak ref stoppage due to a cut over a pissed off Sheika, struggled with Bika, looked like a rank amateur versus a 43-year old Hopkins, got dropped and hurt twice by a stale RJJ (who had been destroyed by GJ and Tarver), got dropped and struggled badly with Salem, was unimpressive versus Starie (of all fighters (LOL)), and if you take away the ref stoppage on a cut of Sheika and the premature stoppage of Mitchell he has TKOd/KOd NOBODY in his ENTIRE CAREER.

Joe was a pretty good fighter. He beat up an overrated overwhelmed Lacy (in a very hostile environment for Lacy) and he came through against the overrated Mikkel Kessler. He managed to win on workrate against a superior talent in the then past peak Chris Eubank. He fought like crap versus Hopkins landing about sixty punches (don't bother with the bs actual punch stats from whatever blindmen were handling that function) over 12. That is pretty much it.

The thought of Calzaghe having anything for any elite fighter in their prime is ****ing ridiculous. Prime Benn and Eubank would have EASILY hurt and finished Joe Calzaghe. Jones would have killed him. Same thing for GMAN. Same thing for prime Hopkins. Hop under 35 was way too tough to lose to a Joe Calzaghe level fighter. Dozens upon dozens of guys from 160-175 from the past many generations would have taken Joe.

But, if you only fight ATGs at the end of their career,
you make for a pretty compelling illusion that apparently has sold a lot of little boys a Joe C doll with the kung fu slap.

If someone wants to point out Dawson's deficiencies or what he needs to improve upon that would be one thing, but you don't use Calz as the ****ing measuring stick. What's next, criticizing Pac by mentioning Hamed?atsch
