err....who was the one who tapped instead of going to sleep? Same against Maia.

This guy has to be mma's top douche at the moment. Sonnen looked like he was going to lie about tapping in the Silva fight, and continue toward the decision. Sonnen then wants to criticize Silva for taking everything Chail has and still finding a way to win. Chael wants to be critical of Lance Armstrong and go on to use performance enhancing drugs. Then the douche backs out of his scheduled appearance to discuss what caused him to fail the test.

Nobody expected Chael to dominate Silva for four and a half rounds like he did. It was an amazing display of both stand-up and ground superiority. Sonnen was knocking Silva around the ring, backing him up with his fists for the first few rounds before going for multiple takedowns. Total domination of the pound for pound best MMA fighter. Very unexpected and a great effort that is marred by the recent revelation of steroid abuse. His big mouth is great for the sport and gets fans excited about MMA. Hopefully, he will train hard during his suspension period, come back clean and keep on bringing the excitement and trash talking which most of us eat up.

 

I'm tired of this "he's a bully, fighters on his resume aren't even in the UFC, etc etc :|:|:|". Just shut the **** up already, the man made you tap and was going to put you to sleep. It irks me that he can go on and continue to dog Silva after getting beat by him.. He has a lot of nerve and rekcutnevets just went over the **** he has pulled leading up to the fight and afterwards. I thought better of Sonnen, I didn't think he would still be dogging Silva after getting submitted.

 

He did make some sense towards the end and gave props to Silva and GSP.

There's nothing exciting about a guy who talks as much **** as this guy. Tito, Brock, Mir, Koscheck, Rampage all these guys talk some trash and know how to make a fight interesting but the differance is none of them have sunk as low as Chael and most of them can back it up.

 

^^Sonnen does sink to new lows, and comes off as delusional and ignorant. All the fighters mentioned above call the fights the way the public saw it when all is said and done.

 

Well, Joe Rogan thinks he is a very funny, entertaining interview and Joe is a very successful stand-up comedian as well as actor and UFC announcer. He thinks if Sonnen can become a champion he will be a superstar because of his controversial remarks and natural wit. One example, Chael was caught in an obvious lie on a radio program and when the interviewer played an audio clip of him lieing and generally bullshitting about an opponent., he glibly replied. "I never said that. That's not me. That guy sounds Hispanic." That is some funny stuff. You don't get it. He really doesn't take himself that seriously and likes to hype his fights.
