I don't see anything wrong with what he said. Its true Silva does speak english and Coleman IS a bum. All you guys want people to say the truth and tell us what they think but when they do everyone whines. I don't understand you guys. And in that last video I don't see him switching his tune. He said all along he likes to watch his fights he just doesn't understand how or why he doesn't train like everyother fighter in the world, but never did he say he didn't like him in fact he said I think twice that he WAS a Coleman fan.
I don't know about that. When he is saying things like "Nobody wants to watch him anyway" and "Who cares if he wants to leave the sport", it makes him looks stupid. He is talking about one of the top fighters in the world, of course people want to watch him and care about what he does. The bit about him knowing 'perfect' English, I can't really comment on. What makes this more silly is the fact that Anderson hasn't said anything bad about Sonnen. There is a difference between saying the truth and talking shite.

Sonnen is incredibly witty; if you don't realize he is almost entirely tongue in cheek it sounds annoying, but he knows exactly what he is doing, he is incredibly bright and has an odd sense of humor.
Are his accusations that Anderson speaks perfect English substantiated? He has a point, Anderson is making his cash off of American viewers, he doesn't need to respect us or anything to be great, but I would respect him more if he was forthcoming about his distaste for us, rather than lying to us about how he may, "really feel about us." I could even potentially understand a distaste for Americans. Anyhow, tend to think Sonnen is more manipulative than truthful. I won't believe it until I hear it from someone like Nog.
Why should he speak English? He is Brazilian, fought for years in Japan but trained in Brazil and now fights in an organisation that stages events all over the world. He didn't learn Japanese when he was fighting in Pride. If he lives in the US now then he should make an effort to learn some English, but we don't start having a go at Pacman for not being a good English speaker or in MMA nobody is whining about Fedor or in the past Arlovski. People pay to watch him smash the crap out of people not give speeches.

Not saying he should, "Learn to speak english, this is America boy." I'm saying that, if he speaks English, then he should go ahead and speak to the fans directly when he speaks to them, instead of having interpreters do it. It would be no different than not talking to you directly in person.. But instead, writing down notes and giving it to someone else to relay to you, when I'm perfectly capable of speaking to you myself.. It would be a bit disrespectful imo if someone did that to me, and I knew they were capable of speaking perfectly fine English.
