Sonnen vs Silva II Fixed ??

    If it were a fix, why would it end in the 2nd round?

    Also, why would they have Anderson win?

    Silva caught Chael with another body shot after he stood up and it was in part the delay to that shot that put Sonnen back down. Like Bas Rutten always says if a guy is hurt to the body - go back to the body and he'll go back down.

    Exactly right. When there's the question of a fix you look at who would have gained from it being a fix. Like searching for a motive when a murder occurs.

    In this case nobody would have gained. The better fighter won as everybody expected he would and the world keeps turning.

    As someone already said, Sonnen was gracious and respectful after their first fight too.

    Tbh nothing would surprise me. But I think it was Chael giving up more than anything else.

    Sports books probably did pretty well. Sonnen was being bet on heavy, and they didn't have to put him @ +500 like the previous fight.

    Judging from the first fight, would take only a person of average intelligence. Looking at the line for this past fight, an intelligent person would know not to make a pick.
