Sonnen vs Wanderlei on PPV.

Another brain dead move by Coker, this won't sell for ****.... Sonnen is irrelevant and looked pathetic against Ortiz, plus the beef isn't fun or relevant(it was like 4-5 years ago ) Bellator can do well ******ed fights or not just so long as they stick to free TV and don't go head to head with any popular shows or sporting events.

 

I just don't get why this idiot insists on marketing the promotion like this. They have some excellent talent, potentially p4p(at least a couple of top 10 fighters)

 

Dantes is an excellent talent, top 10 Bantamweight easy - he's facing Darrion Caldwell next... Who's pretty much like a mini Jon Jones but with a much better athletic background. That's an excellent fight.

145 is stacked with talent. Straus, Curran, Pitbull, Weichel among others.

155 is decent too. Chandler, B. Henderson, Thompson, other Pitbull bro

170 is easily their best division. Lima, Koreshkov, Daley, Page, MacDonald and most recent Larkin. Lima, Koreshkov, MacDonald and Larkin would all be top 10 in the UFC. Coker would be wise to aggressively market that and utilize the talent here.

185 and on the talent starts to take a bit of a dip but there's still a good amount to work with....

All of the ingredients for success and to even go head to head with a UFC PPV a couple of times a year.

 

These two are beyond shot.

That said, Wanderlei is my man.

 

100% agree.They are dishing up garbage like Shamrock-Kimbo, Sonnen etc etc just garbage joke fights for the clueless casuals. I want to watch stuff like Larkin-Mvp-Rory etc etc.

 

Chael will promote the **** out of this fight. It will sell. Coker knows what he's doing.

 

Looks cool (Sonnen/Silva aside) but not PPV cool.

 

Sonnen was ok 5yrs ago but the act is a bit sad now

 

Yeah and he was full of PED's back then. He's never been anything more than an average fighter at the top level. Has made most of his money/fame through his mouth rather than his actual fighting skills.
