An MRI shows SBW has a slight tear in his shoulder from the match last night >>> http://www.news.com.au/top-stories/...anese-club-rugby/story-e6frfkp9-1226504628895 He does have nearly a month til the Botha fight. But this has to be a set-back.
Leapai is absolutely rubbish as well mate. No boxing skills whatsoever and no gas tank after round 3. If neither Botha or him land flush early I envisage two obese men hugging each other for 7 of the 10 rds with the sound of boos deafening around the half filled arena.:good
Alex Leapai was so short of gas he was running on the fumes. But remained as dangerous as hell as Travis Walker will attest.
Yep Leapai fat and out of shape, zero boxing skills, completely gassed early in the fight and needs a ridiculous home town ref to get him the win.
when r u going to realise that alex only has stamina issues when he is in a war of a fight? its not lack of fitness, its from copping too much punishment.
Rubbish,in that video which is from 2 years ago, he's not even in decent shape, it was only in round 4, he needs to sort his defense fast.
Fights been rescheduled for February, what a joke bet it still doesn't happen. Does that change anybody's opinion on the fight?
I think theres more to it then just the shoulder injury without the winning combination with Mundine srn in his corner will effect SBW mind set going into this fight against way past it but still dangerous Botha..Could be a other reason the fights off..just a thought..
I know a few punters who will be disappointed... This fight presented a rare arbitrage betting opportunity. 2 bookies had complete opposite odds - whereby backing both fighters to win resulted in a 30% return on investment. A draw being the only possible loss. So put a $1000 on and get $1300 back regardless of result... We will get them next time Adam
Yeah we were talking about it a couple of pages ago @ $26 bucks for a draw that result could have been easily negated also. @ NZTAB they didn't have a draw as an option, they use dead heat rules and when that result occurs the punter is paid out half of a win. Botha @ $3 bucks would have still resulted in $1.50 paid out for every dollar invested, not a bad result. How often have you seen it occur before? It's the first time i have seen it in 10 years
That happens all the time with punters directly influencing the odds In this situation different agencies opened with opposite odds at the same time
