True, that was my first reaction. But it doesnt have to be like that, the members who make the club wouldnt want the players to behave like that and shouldnt allow the club to do the same.

A lot of these guys arent rocket surgeons, they tend trust the people they think know best.

 

Sonny Bill is a naive moron. Throw into the mix a greedy manager and bunch of mental midgets for mentors (i.e Mundine) and you've got an physiology gifted young man who makes some awful decisions.

I met Sonny 2weeks after he had arrived in Oz as both of us were under Chris/Gavin Orrs management.I then watched him play in a s.g.ball game after i had played the doggies in Harold Mats.

He put two blokes in Hospital and scored a 4tries in the premier under 18's comp.From that moment on i knew he was the Business.He didnt need any1 to help make him a somebody.The bulldogs needed Sonny more then he needed them.

You have misconstrude my post. I have agreed he is a very talented young man- and surely could have made it under any club's banner. However, the fact remains he signed with the Bulldogs, then renigged on his contract and pissed off overseas.

This is why I call him naive and a moron. I repeat- i do not dispute his talent or his success- however no one held a gun to his head and asked him to sign, he did that of his own free will...then sold them out for a higher price down the track. There would have been countless others before Sonny and after Sonny who get offered more money but they have enough respect for themselves and the sport to honour their original word.

Yeah sonnys managers suck......imagine having a manager that made you the highest paid player in the country by a long way....who would want that?.......I am being sarcastic if you cant tell.

The hate on Mundine will never stop....I guess everybody wants him to fail....but he keeps on making millions while everboby keeps giving him ****.....I think he sleeps well at night.

 

Management's not just about the dollars. It's about making good decisions for your talent. If you haven't noticed Sonny's not happy in France.. It's O.K for Khoder though, he still got his cut and didn't have to move to France- or cop the brunt of abuse from Australia and the media in general... great manager.
