good post. why is it they tell us the game is better when scrums are no longer a contest, ball security is thrown out the window, and striking for the ball in the play the ball is gone? i dont know anyone that agrees with these rule changes....

Great posts AJAY and SALLYWINDER. I personally much preferred watching league in the 80's compared to today's game. I totally agree with the NO INTERCHANGE rule. They should have 4 replacements only. Fitness and stamina should be apart of the game just like any other sport.

 

It will be interesting to see how the bulldogs will enforce the contact seeing he is leaving for another sport.

Khoder Nasser is certainly behind this imo, both choc and solo broke rugby league contracts in league for boxing and no legal actions was taken so i don't see how this is any different to the SBW fiasco.

BTW my interest in league has waivered after Super League debacle and then interchange where the sport just another form of touch footy on a larger scale.

Yeah that of course but i dont think Sonny will be as good at Union as League.
He gets free range in League to run at defenders but Union can take that game out of Sonny. How many players actually make a easy transition and then look great.
