So i take it the fat black dude is a Kiwi too? Or did they just make this title up on the fly. Thoroughly meaningless bout with an equally inept finish. Sonny doesn't have a lot of boxing acumen. He does alot of things completely wrong and certainly doesnt look like a natural. The way he hangs that chin out he's a fraction of a second away from a KO loss. Any decent quality journeymen would deal with him easily inside a few rounds.

Phenomenal 3 sport athlete with a huge name in the Southern Hemisphere. Fair? Probably not. Will people pay to see him fight? Hell yeah.

SBW is a great rugby player potentially a legend for the All Blacks but a boxer he is not. He'll never be a world class boxer especially with only boxing once a year and having to have a different physique that's not ideal for boxing - big upper body, bicepts and tricepts

I'd agree; but I'd also take in to account that he has no am experience, and that was what, his 5th fight? Pretty tough ask to be showing much acumen at that point in one's boxing career, no?

His boxing career is a complete sideline to his rugby / rugby league exploits and I'd expect that he'll never fight anyone with a pulse at all.

His manager is the same as Anthony Mundine, so he's well connected to the garbage man / civil servant line of fighters - expect to see plenty of those if he continues to box.

He knocked out that unstoppable monster Clarence Tillman, so he must be the real deal.

To be fair no-one in the boxing fraternity is hyping him. In fact, Williams himself doesn't think much of his ability, and knows he will not go far.
