man wow, amazing. Jaro was really up for this one. He mixed up his attack beautifully. Good stuff from the limited Jaro using everything he had and making the most of what would have surely been his last shot. This is akin to Mormeck KO'ing Wlad.

Jaro got real power. I remember he scored a KD on Edgar Sosa.

Segura was outclassed in there. I am sure Segura can call Viloria "daddy" if they ever meet again.

Freddy, you are a really cool dude man, but you have to stop bringing up race when it isn't called for. Yes Segura beat Jaro, but Viloria beat Segura. Both Mexican fighters and Filipino fighters are known for having heart and balls. When you post stuff like this, you are no better than the countless *******s on this site who make their people look bad.

Again you are cool dude, but I just wanted to make that suggestion, because that really does make us Mexicans look bad.

Great win for Jaro, definately an upset, but that's what makes boxing great.

Pongsaklek's record now stands at 83-4-2 (44 KOs). Three of his four losses have come at the hands of Filipino journeyman.

1995: Jerry Pahayahay W8 Pongsaklek Wonjongkam
1995: Jerry Pahayahay KO5 Pongsaklek Wonjongkam
2012: Sonny Boy Jaro TKO6 Pongsaklek Wonjongkam

Nevermind the slew of p4p level fighters (Arce, Darchinyan, Donaire, Narvaez) he never faced, he's had his hands full with Filipino journeyman. Can you imagine what Brian Viloria would do to him? Viloria is no journeyman. Throw Segura and Hernan Marquez into the mix.

Pongsaklek has fooled a lot of boxing fans for years. His resume is very thin when you put into perspective the top fighters he has failed to face during his era. A P4P fighter he was not.

I'm not sure it has to be end of the line for Pong. He has still maintained solid form fairly recently before this.

It's unclear how much was just a combination of Jaro being really up for it and a physical juggernaut on the night and Pong getting caught cold early and never recovering, and how much is really Pong just being too well past it to fend off any degree of serious pressure.
