    At his best, when focused, he was truly a monster. Emmanuel Steward questioned whether Ali or anyone could have beaten Liston at his prime, in the late 50s. He was a bad man.

    There would be a lot more highlights of Liston and many other fighters of that era if Cus hadn't kept the title on lockdown with Patterson.

    debatable.
    I would favor Liston too, but Marciano always refused to give up, so i'm just not sure..
