The “competition” (read BF2002) is making me look far better than I am. Both you guys and others have served him just as effectively at the very least and, in many cases, more so.

Sonny Liston was defeated by Marshall in only Liston's 8th professional fight.Perhaps you don't
know the circumstances of this fight ( or perhaps you do ).Marshall was fooling around and made
Sonny liston laugh with his antics.During this distraction Liston's jaw was broken by Marshall.
Still Sonny fought on for several rounds only losing on points while showing tremendous heart.

Ingemar Johansson took two rounds longer to defeat Floyd Patterson.
Sonny Liston defeated Patterson inside one round in both of their fights.How on earth would
Patterson do worse against Big George or Smokin' Joe ? This is just plain daft.
Leotis Martin a light-heavyweight ? For the Liston fight he weighed 199 lbs.Admittedly a small
heavyweight but obviously not a light-heavyweight.Besides by this time Sonny was an old man.
Yes Quarry did eventually Patterson,but this was a far older version of Patterson than the one
so emphatically beaten by Liston.

Marty Marshall is underrated. He was on nice run in 1954 and knocked out Satterfield. He might have been a journeyman but calling him a bum probably isn't fair. He made my top 20 list for 1950-1955 the most prestigious honor there is!! Kidding kidding.

Sonny had so much heart that he quit against Ali and blinded several of his opponents.
