    Compubox describes pulev as statuesque.
Those watching the sport at the time knew Pulev as a tricky in and out fighter. Not statuesque.
He was in this position due to the illegal bouncy castle imposed by Klitschko who needed opponents to stand straight in front of him

Hamburg, Germany - WBO/IBF/IBO/WBA heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko made his punches count, scoring four knowdowns with 17 landed power punches vs. the statuesque Pulev, who had his moments early before walking into several rarely-used Klitschko left hooks. The fight was finally waved off in the fifth round, when Pulev went down and out for the fourth

Spongy canvas doesn't mean anything imo. You find out about that stuff when you sign the contract, and there's no way they wouldn't train for it in for the heavyweight world title.

I'm no heavyweight, nor contender but I have sparred in gyms where the padding in the canvas was a lot thicker and it's hardly debilitating. It definitely didn't alter my style. I do personally prefer a bare bones, slither of canvas over some plyboard type of ring (you can hear the stomp on your shots, yknow?), but to me it's definitely not a big factor.

Klitschko was training on a spongy canvas late in his career. Pulev might have been the only opponent who he beat by bouncing up and down on his bouncy castle

Obviously he tried fighting Fury on the same canvas but Fury wasn't a push over like Pulev. Team fury were well aware of all their dirty tactics

It's a matter of truth. The fight was a battle of hugs not jabs. Klitschko never engaged in a battle of anything with anybody.
Everybody knows he was a safety first fighter and threw only when he knew nothing would be coming back .

Mate, as a relatively new & seemingly pleasant poster, please let me save you some time. Responding to Dino on anything Wlad related in the hope of a reasonable, balanced discussion, is an exercise as futile as attempting to reason Charles Manson into seeing people as equals regardless of gender or race.
