    Sonny was the Referee for the First WBA Junior Middleweight Championship

    10/20/62
    Portland, Oregon
    Denny Moyer vs. Joey Giambra

    He was also scheduled to Referee a bout in Alaska in the fall 1966,
    9/13/66 in Anchorage, Alaska.
    But he couldn't make it, as he was still in Sweden, finishing up his exhibition tour.

    Rocky Marciano was brought in as the Referee.
    Rocky was always available, if he money was right,,,,,,,,,,,,,
