29-0 is pretty impressive lol. Liston by 6th round KO, catches Haye coming in with that 84 inch reach. A sledgehammer right hand crashes Haye.

People are being very unfair to Haye. Top of my list of favourite fighters are guys like Liston and McClellan because they were true bad guys, you just would not **** with them in the streets, but David Haye falls under this catagory too. David Haye has balls like a pair of clock tower bells, heart as big as any, tremendous boxing skill and fundamentals, and hits like a train. That spells danger to any man, china chinned or not.

Haye wins that one. He fights 2009, Liston 50 years ago. Haye is always in top shape and faster than Liston. Haye has much better lateral and head movement.

Liston is often an overhyped guy who had the luck, that at his time the HW champ was a chinachinned depressive and blownup middleweight guy named Floyd Patterson.

Two can play this game. Make it Haye vs. Floyd Patterson, and I wouldn't be surprised if Haye came out on top.

I would pick Floyd Patterson over David Haye.

Against Liston, Hay would be lucky to see the third round.

After David Haye beats Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko and is Undisputed HeavyWeight Champion of the World people will take this thread much more seriously. But for us Haye fans we know that he could win this fight against Liston. He was only a 215 lbs Heavyweeight, Davids size even when he fought at CW.

It doesn't even seam fair to make Liston vs Haye. Sonny would destroy him. Haye hasn't even proven to be in Sonny's league.
