Sonny would beat Lennox. Streetfighting is no joke, and Sonny was built more for it than Lennox. Indeed.

Lennox was more of a boxer and not a street person unlike Liston.

A chess match in the park?

    Lennox ALL day long.

After Lennox wins however, Sonny will tip the board over and the street fight will then ensue.

First move - Sonny’s left to the Lion’s chin. New game on.

Rahman sonned Lennox in their out the ring tussle (live on tv) but got completely knocked goofy in the ring. Sonny doesn't look like he'd lose to anyone outside the ring (maybe young George).

outside ring fight =/= inside ring fight

I pick Mitch Green over Sonny in a street fight, being in the Spades and all that.

Bizarrely, Lennox Lewis does have a resume against lineal champions, in unregulated fights.

He has brawled with Rahman, Tyson, and allegedly Klitschko.

What do we take away from these unfortunate incidents, for whatever they are worth?

Rahman was able get him under control fairly quickly with grappling.

The other incidents don't lead to any firm conclusion either way.

My gut is telling me, that Liston is better at this particular gig!

Yes, Liston was an accomplished, maniacal streetfighter. Hard to see Lewis making it out of this.

Mitch was on Angel dust, if not, could have ended up bad for Mike.

Normally, wouldn't, but Mitch ran with a bad gang. Plus he had a strong rep. Iran Barkley was in the same crew.

Not disputing that Mitch was a guy to avoid falling out with, but if we're going down that road remember
that Sonny was employed by the Mafia as a strike-breaker.Very,very heavy stuff indeed.

Angel dust (allegedly) was the only thing getting him back up. Being in a gang doesn't make you impossible to beat.

If Lewis ever found himself in a street fight against Liston, before even 1 punch is thrown Lewis would be staring down the barrel of Listons six shooter right before he is sent off to the next realm.
