At Liston's best, I don't thing that he would have any extreme difficulties with Langford, McVey, Jeanette or Wills. His straight power left would cause any boxer trouble.
In their era he woul pick up losses against most or all of them at some point. He would be fighting them all multiple times and quite close together.
Sorry for the hijack McVey, but how do you, and everyone else, think Foreman would go with McVey? Not the poster, the fighter.
Mcvey was a hard man to stop capable of sustaining huge punishment and still coming at you.I think Foreman tags him for good around the 8-9th ,over 15 ,I fancy George.20rds or longer Sam might outlast George. I think I would stop George around the 7th ,he would likely drown in my blood.
