Briggs took a similar type beating but Wepner was much more game with the then 45 year old Liston.Wepners body went into complete shock after the Liston fight beatings like that are no joke.Wepner was known for taking beatings also he took alot of punishment in all his fights as far as Briggs this is his last fight he was not even competitive at all it was worse the Cobb vs Holmes which many thought was the worst one sided heavyweight championship bouts ever.
