    Apologies. I definitely rate Williams and Patterson higher than Tua punch wise- As Tua's best scalps are men with suspect chins. Williams was able to stop men like Terrell, and Patterson was able to do the same with Moore (And before you tell me that Archie was far past it, he was still quite capable, and was only a year removed from the decision loss to Rocky).

    Williams I agree, but Patterson? Not sure about that, Floyd was roughly 190 and if he had comparable power to an established 230 pound puncher like Tua then surely Patterson would need to be a Fitzsimmons\Langford level puncher?

    I don’t know if I’d say Williams hit harder than Tua. I know Patterson certainly didn’t.

    Tua did not knock out men remarkable enough defensively or chin wise to make me believe that Patterson was a weaker puncher than he was. Tua took 11 to score a technical stoppage on Maskaev.

    Tua feels the weight of Liston's jab and settles for survival ,as he did against Lewis.

    A quote by Liston;

    "I had the privilege of sparring Tony Galento a few years ago, and he was quite the puncher! The scientific abilities of (Tony) Galento are just marvelous, the speed he moves at reminds me of (Floyd) Patterson, or even (Cassius) Clay."
