Dillian Whyte - you know, modern day training, modern day nutrition, modern day size, modern day PEDs, modern day everything.

Sonny Liston - the most feared beast from the 50-60s era.

Who wins? Will be Whyte modern-dayness too much for monster like Liston?

Actually Whyte reminds me a bit of Liston because of his tremendous reach but he is a very very poor mans version
    at best.

Liston could do everything a lot better than Whyte and was a bigger puncher.

I got Liston by KO within 5 rounds without breaking a sweat.

Liston is imo better in every aspect, and would stop Whyte early to mid rounds.

Depends on if liston is in shape and wont quit.

This would be a war from the opening bell, and neither guy would back off or try to win on points. If dillians chin and stamina hold up, he might be able to tire liston up close with his weight advantage and then score on him as liston gets slower and lackadaisical with his defense.

Idk if that would work because liston had the stamina to go 12 rounds and his power didnt seem to fade unlike most punchers. Liston also has a reach advantage and more experience so if he decided to jab dillians head off then go in for the klll, thats a possibility too. An old ass liston was able to keep the much taller whepner at the end of his jab and dictate the pace.

I slightly lean toward liston winning with his experience and power by TKO around round 6, but dillian might land something vicious and end it a little later if he can tire liston out. It probably doesnt go to the cards either way as both men had frightening power and are more than willing to trade and fight in the trenchs.

Whyte would try to slug it out at some point as always and that would be a suicide mission against Liston who not only could fight a lot better from the mid range and on the inside, he also had much better defense and he would slip most of Whytes telegraphed punches.

Sorry but there's no way Whyte could make this a close fight.

I don’t disagree with Liston in 3-5 rds pick...just not sure any HW (or any weight) fights 5 rds without breaking a sweat
