sonny liston vs joe louis

I feel there's no valid reason to go with the vastly physically, mentally and spiritually inferior Liston, no matter how mysteriously visually impaired Louis happens to get during the fight. Louis TKO7. Liston is later claimed to be 50-years-old with a gouty knee and to have been threatened by Braddock's goons! :scaredas:

 

Louis for his era is by far the greater HW.... BUt ive always felt that Liston was the first HW Champion who could beat or atleast hang with any of the best modern era Big Hws. People point out that he was 6-1 210,215 but he had a huge reach and he was a big 215..ALthough only 10 or 15 lbs heavier than Louis,he was naturally bigger..Today Liston would probably be a 225lb hw and i believe his reach is longer than the Klitchkos.

He had the better chin,,physically stronger.. AN style wise hed do well with LOuis...Louis had much faster hands and better techinichally... Andi if he had a great chin id pick him to stop Liston in themid to late rounds....BUt moretimes than not i cant see him making it out the early rounds.. Im not ruling out a Louis ko but 8 outof 10 times Liston blast him early.... LIston ko 4...... If Louis makes it out the early rounds though,, he could get LIston late.

 

listons reach is 11 bigger then Vital klichko...

and,what much people don´t know....Louis was positiv testet on roids hahaha ;=P

 

i can only talk about george chuvalo here,it was liston that didn't want to fight him .chuvalo wanted to fight sonny
